      Internships

      The Horizon Brands internship program provides students with valuable real-life experiences in the corporate world. Students are given the opportunity to learn about and explore all of the departments and operations of the company. Interns are partnered with a mentor, creating an educational environment in which the student can improve and learn new skills that they will carry with them into the future.

      The program lasts between 6 to 8 weeks during the college or university summer-break.The internship starts and ends on the same day between June and September each year. During the internship, interns are given the opportunity to work together on a group project of their own creative freedom to explore the different departments and operations of the entire company.

      Each intern will have a mentor from the field of their position during their employment. These high-level professionals will provide guidance, share their knowledge and expertise and manage the interns’ performance by offering regular feedback.

      This was more than I could ask for in an internship. The company’s culture is nurturing, supportive, family-like, friendly, and highly motivated. It exceeded my expectation for a company. I feel like I have not only gained new skills but also matured as a person.
